Approximately 2 years ago, people around the world saw a big cinema release 2012 The End of The World.” There are several disasters demonstrated in this movie such as earthquakes, tsunamis and floods, including a separating of land. That’s terrible for everyone!
At that time, most people thought that it was impossible for that situation to occur, some people laughed, some people were entertained. But now they may be confused and anxious with some events that have happened recently. There are disasters day by day: firstly, earthquake at Christchurch in New Zealand (February 2011). Followed by, earthquake and tsunami near the East Coast of Honshu in Japan (March 2011). Next, the earthquake in Burma (The end of March, 2011). And lately, we have floods in the summer season in the south of Thailand (April, 2011). These situations bring both loss of lives and belongings of people all over the world. Is this a sign warning of the end of the world?
Have you ever thought about how these situations come? Are they from the natural disaster? or Are they from humans beings? I think we all know the answer. What are we going to do next after we have got a warning from nature? Of cause, the first thing we have done for helping our world friends who faced with the disaster is by donations.
However, it is not the right way to solve the problem. It is just healing them from the terrible situation.  In my opinion, we have to encourage the people across the world to stop destroying nature before nature will destroy us. As we can see in Thailand, after heavy rain, the mountains collapsed and killed lots of people in Krabi.
The cause of problem comes from people cutting down the forest and replaced with rubber garden instead. That’s why, they were faced with the mountain collapsing into the village. Moreover, people who live around the village are afraid of the bad situation and never come back to live there again because they lost their families, homes and lands. It might take some time to heal them.
In Nakhon Si Thammarat and Suratthani also faced with floods for a couple of weeks. The flood started from Nakhon Si Thammarat and happened next in Suratthani. There are many roads were cut off. There was no electricity in some places and there was no water in Suratthani for twelve days. The government and business organizations had struck with floods because we had never thought about the floods will happen in the summer season like this year.
Anyway, if the world is going to end in 2012, what would you do first? What is the most important thing for you? Who is the last you wish to kiss good bye? Do you plan for these? There are just a few questions that one has to answer.
Ultimately, we just hope the year of 2012 will pass well by being friendly to nature, take care of the world and all creations follow the slogan save us…save the world.” We can not live alone on the planet whether the world ends in 2012 or not.
